VMware Optimisation

We audit your estate and licences, match Broadcom editions to your real workloads and modernise vSphere, vSAN and NSX in agreed maintenance windows, without stopping working systems.

WHAT YOU GET
After the project you have:
Licences matched to real workloads: no paying for what you do not use
An action plan ahead of renewal and end of support, with dates
An updated environment, ready for the next 3–5 years
SLA support, from the same engineering team

WHAT WE SEE IN THE FIELD
Which of these sounds familiar?
End of support is close
Support contracts signed years ago are running out, and there are no in-house engineers for a major update.
Costs keep growing
Licence and support costs rise every year; the infrastructure budget becomes unpredictable.
Renewal without data
The renewal date is approaching, and the decision is being made without independent data on actual usage.
⚑︎
Licences are inefficient
Editions and subscriptions do not match actual workloads: you pay for what you do not use.
THE SOLUTION
What the solution includes
Estate and licence audit

A full inventory of your VMware estate: versions, subscriptions, actual resource usage, risk profile and TCO. You get an independent maturity assessment of the environment and options for action.

Licence and cost optimisation

The right editions and subscriptions for your actual workloads, within Broadcom’s current licensing logic. Host and cluster consolidation, removing costs that deliver nothing to the business.

Virtualisation modernisation

vSphere · vSAN · NSX · VCF: version and architecture updates, better performance and resilience, hybrid scenarios for your workloads, with the economics calculated over 3–5 years.

Work without downtime

Cross-cluster migrations and site recovery under proven scenarios, Veeam-based backup strategies. All changes in agreed maintenance windows, step by step, with a rollback plan at every stage.

SLA support

After the project, the same engineering team looks after the infrastructure: monitoring, updates and support under an agreed SLA.

HONEST ABOUT SAVINGS
Cheap virtualisation is not coming back

After VMware’s move to Broadcom we do not promise to bring the old prices back. What we can do: show what exactly you are paying for now, how much of it is actually in use, and which editions match your workloads. In some estates the difference turns out to be significant, in others it does not. You will see the number after the audit, before you sign the renewal, not after. If there is nothing to optimise, we will say so.

How we work
Three transparent steps

01free of charge

Talk to an expert
We work through your task and environment; you leave with 2–3 possible solution scenarios.

02paid stage

Technical assessment
A review of the estate and licences: report, TCO, ROI model and an action plan ahead of renewal. The price is fixed before work begins.

03

Implementation and support
Delivery in agreed windows, with a rollback plan. Ongoing support under an agreed SLA.
HONESTLY
When we are not the right fit
If you only need a licence reseller with the lowest price, without an audit or engineering work.
If the renewal is due this week: a proper assessment takes one to two weeks, so the best time to talk is before the renewal window, not inside it.
FAQ
The key questions, answered
Can we reduce costs while staying on VMware?
In some cases, yes: the right editions, subscriptions and configuration for actual workloads make a difference without changing the platform. In other cases the estate is already optimal, and then the audit’s result is a verified number for your renewal negotiations. Both outcomes are more useful than a decision without data.
Who exactly does the work, and how qualified is the team?
Engineers of our partner Vixen.UNO, a VMware Premier Partner and Broadcom Technology Alliance member: 12 engineers with current VCP and 4 with VCAP.
Our support is running out. Will we make it in time?
Yes, that is the most common starting point. First a quick assessment of the state and the dates, then an action plan ahead of end of support, so the decision is made in advance rather than in the last week.
What happens to our working systems during the work?
Work is planned in agreed maintenance windows with rollback points: critical systems are handled step by step, with a check at every stage.
Will you support an environment you did not build?
Yes. We start with a technical assessment of its state, then support under an SLA. Who built the environment before, and how, is not an obstacle.
How do you handle our data during the project?
Engineers work in your environment under your access controls; we do not take copies of production data out of it. NDA before technical detail, a data processing agreement on request, subprocessors named in the contract. The full picture (data access, the documents we sign and where hosting runs) is on the Security & Compliance page.
Who is the contract with, and who is responsible for the result?
The contract is with Eurokommerz (Austria). The engineering work is delivered by the team of our partner Vixen.UNO. A dedicated Eurokommerz project lead stays your single point of contact: questions do not move between contractors.
